In Lucknow, about 25770 cellphones were provided, with 24620 in Ambedkar Nagar, 12990 in Moradabad, 10776 in Saharanpur, and 10346 in Muzaffarnagar.
  • Under the supervision of Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, the distribution process for this scheme is being carried out in perfect transparency and without discrimination. To ensure that the distribution procedure runs well, 720000 tablets and more than 10,50,000 cellphones have been allocated to the districts. On September 25, 2021, the first phase of distribution under this system began.

Distribution of tablets and smartphones in the first phase
  • On the occasion of Atal Bihari Vajpayee's birthday, December 25, 2021, Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath will gift 1 lakh youth with free mobile phones and tablets.
