PM Daksha Yojana 2022: Objectives

Starting with around 0.5 lakh youth in the first year i.e. 2021-22 from the following sections of the target group, 2.7 lakh persons will have to improve their all-round abilities and competencies over the next 5 years.
Artisans may be able to improve their revenue-generating capacity within their commercial businesses.
Women – may be able to enter into self-employment thereby empowering themselves financially without neglecting their domestic activities; and
Youth from the target groups can receive long-term training and expertise in employable occupations to better position them in the vacancy market, etc.

PM Daksha Yojana 2022: Key Features

The training for the trainees is free of cost; there will be 100% subsidy by the government.
A stipend of Rs.1,000/- to Rs.1,500/- per month per trainee for trainees having 80% and above attendance in short-term and long-term training.
Wage compensation @ Rs.3000/- per trainee (Rs.2500/- as per PM-DAKSH and Rs.500/- as per Common Cost Norms for trainees having 80% and above attendance in Reskilling/Up-skilling.
Trained applicants will be provided certification after successful completion of training and assessment.
Trained applicants will be provided placement after assessment and certification.

Other Backward Classes having Annual Family Income below Rs. 3.00 Lakh	OBC Certificate released by appropriate Authority of State Government, and Income Certificate below Rs. 3.00 Lakh p.a. released by the appropriate authority of the State Government or self-certified and duly endorsed by a Gazette officer website as defined by the appropriate government will be acceptable. It is explicitly clarified that endorsement by public representatives, Gram Pradhan, Serpent, Councilor, notaries etc. will not be acceptable. Further, valid Below Poverty Line card and Antodaya Anna Yojna cards will also be acceptable as commensurate proof of annual family income of the beneficiary being within Rs. 1.00 Lakh per annum
Economically Backward Classes having Annual Family Income below Rs. 1.00 Lakh	Income Certificate below Rs. 1.00 Lakh p.a, released by the appropriate authority of the State Government or self-certified and duly endorsed by a Gazetted officer as defined by the appropriate government will be acceptable. Apart from this, valid below poverty line card and Antyodaya Anna Yojana card will also be proof of the annual family income of the beneficiary. Rs. 1.00 Lakh per annum.
