• Candidates must have completed their LLB degree (three years professional after graduation or five years after 10+2) examination with minimum 55% aggregate marks in aggregate.
• Also, the CLAT PG score of the previous year is mandatory for all candidates (including qualified LLM and LLM appearing candidates) who apply for courses commencing in a particular year.

Final selection - A merit list will be designed  on the basis of results brought by the prospect

• If the same SSB marks are obtained by more than one candidate in the SSB interview, the candidate(s) who are older in age will be ranked higher in merit. SSB both in terms of marks and age
• More than one candidate is the same, the candidate(s) with higher percentage of marks in the qualifying examination will be placed higher in the merit. There is no role of higher educational qualification, past performance etc.
• Those who are in the merit list and who fall in the prescribed vacancies and are medically fit, subject to fulfilling all eligibility criteria, will be issued joining letters for Pre-Commissioning Training at OTA, Chennai.
