Why and why are skill subjects important for class 10th students?

Skill subjects are not only the most important to develop creative and innovative skills among students but can also be helpful in increasing their board exam percentage. CBSE Class 10 students can please a aptitude-based subject as a sixth subject Different from five main subjects - Mathematics, Science, Social Science, English, and Second Language.
Now, as per the policy of CBSE, if a student fails in any one of the three optional subjects (Maths, Science, and Social Science), he/she will be given a skill subject (selected as the 6th additional subject) and the CBSE result will be replaced. The class 10 board exam will be calculated accordingly.
