Retired officers of the rank of Inspector or above from Central/State Police Forces having 10 years experience in investigation and prosecution of criminal cases in Court are eligible to be appointed for the above post. Candidates must be graduate from a recognized university.

The candidates will be hired full time and will not have any right to take up part time private employment during the period of recruitment. The hired consultants will be used by the HOZ/HOB in the best interest of the CBI, taking into account the performance of duties of lobbying officers in the special CBI courts.

CBI is looking for retired police officers of the rank of Inspectors and above to be hired as Consultants at a monthly remuneration of Rs 40,000 per month. To attend work related matters at Bangalore for a period of one year.

Completed application in the prescribed format (Annexure-I) along with requisite documents may be sent by Registered / Speed Post to Head of Branch, CBI, BSFB, No. 36, Bellary Road, Ganganagar, Bangalore 560032 on or before 10.04.2023 .

4. Due to non-receipt of desired number of applications from eligible candidates against the earlier advertisement dated 08.12.2022 released on CBI website, the last date for submission of applications is hereby extended up to 10.04.2023.

5. Those who have responded to the earlier advertisement in which the last date for submission of applications was given as 19.01.2023 need not apply again.

6. Incomplete applications and applications received after the due date will be summarily rejected.
